چکیده

Abstract The effect of pre-degradation treatment in catalytic pyrolysis polymer was assessed using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and reactor experiments different polymers on various catalysts. Intimate contact between the catalyst achieved physical, mechanical thermal treatments. results from TGA show that has greatly improved performance attaining maximum degradation at lower temperature. Pre-degradation had increased liquid yield lowered coke extents depending structure acidity. ZSM-5 with high Si/Al ratio showed amount (C5–C9) percentage (C14–C20). Based methods, normal mixing produced lighter fractions therefore can serve to enhance gasoline fraction while diesel be optimised co-pressing method, where particles were thoroughly mixed co-pressed together into particles. Coke characterisation formed by linear low density polyethylene contained more volatile components polypropylene higher hard coke. retention precursors. volatility increases concentration decreases as decreases. facilitated formation soft are easy remove inert atmosphere.

Non-oxidative conversion of methane to aromatics over modified zeolite catalysts by transitional metals

The activity of different transitional metals over modified H-ZSM-5 catalysts for methane conversion to aromatics was compared. The first group of catalysts was Mo-impregnated H-ZSM-5 zeolites with 1, 3 and 6 wt% of Mo. The second group was M(3 wt%)- impregnated H-ZSM-5 (M: Ag, Cd, Cr, Mo, Zn and Mn). The catalytic activity of the first group was investigated at 600, 700 and 800 °C and gas hour...

Catalytic conversion of 1,2-dichlorobenzene over mesoporous materials from zeolite.

In this study, 1,2-dichlorobenzene (DCB), an important precursor of PCDDs and PCDFs, was chosen as a suitable model compound for the catalyzed deep oxidation of dioxin. The recently developed mesoporous materials from zeolites (MMZ) were used for the first time as a support for an oxidation catalyst. The catalytic oxidation of 1,2-dichlorobenzene over Pt/MMZ was carried out, and the catalytic a...

Reactivity of surface alkoxy species on acidic zeolite catalysts.

[Reaction: see text]. A solid understanding of the mechanisms involved in heterogeneously catalyzed reactions is of fundamental interest for modern chemistry. This information can help to refine modern theories of catalysis and, in a very practical way, can help researchers to optimize existing industrial processes and develop new ones. To understand the mechanisms of heterogeneous catalysis, w...

Mössbauer and Magnetic Studies of Iron-Zeolite and Iron-Cobalt Zeolite Catalysts Used in Synthesis Gas Conversion

Medium-pore (diameter ~ 6A) zeolites such as ZSM-5 and silicalite impregnated with Group VIII metals provide selective catalytic pathways for the conversion of synthesis gas to gasoline or olefins. Mössbauer and magnetic studies on these catalysts containing iron or iron plus cobalt are reported. The zeolites were impregnated with metal nitrate solutions, reduced, and carbided to yield showed F...
